How is this different from SUPERHOT? What’s new in MIND CONTROL DELETE?
While designing MCD our intention was to present our fans with even more SUPERHOT gameplay. This approach dictated our design process.

I’ve played MIND CONTROL DELETE in Early Access – what’s new in the full release?
The full release includes the results of the final stretch of over half a year of production since Beta 4.0.0 released in December. Floors have been added, story completed, meaning injected. Nearly all of the audio and visuals have been improved and polished. Gameplay was balanced, bugs were fixed, and new features were introduced.

We’ll post a more exhaustive changelog closer to release, but in short – it’s still the game you know from Early Access, but there’s more of it and it’s much more streamlined and polished.

Do I have to finish SUPERHOT first to understand MIND CONTROL DELETE better?
This is not necessary, though it might be helpful with understanding some parts of MCD.

How long is MIND CONTROL DELETE?
Probably around 12-15 hours. Might take longer if you’re a completionist.

MCD will be available on Steam (PC, OSX, Linux), Humble Store, Epic Games Store, Origin, GOG, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. We plan to port to more platforms. Should we have anything to announce, we will let you guys now.

Is MIND CONTROL DELETE coming to VR?
We don’t have any plans at the moment to re-create the MCD experience for VR. It’s important to remember that VR is not only a different platform – it’s an entirely different way of interacting with games and it comes with its own design and hardware challenges. SUPERHOT VR was created from scratch as an entirely separate game to emulate the SUPERHOT experience in VR, and it was a BIG undertaking. We aren’t starting any BIG undertakings right now. Should this change, we’ll let you guys know.

Why did MIND CONTROL DELETE take over three years to develop?
Initially, back in 2016, we had a much different scope in mind for MCD. We wanted to give something extra to the fans that supported SUPERHOT and our tiny, independent studio. We thought we’d put together a small content update for SUPERHOT, make it free for everyone that bought the original game, and call it a day. Turns out, we thought wrong.

We’re not easily satisfied, so we kept raising the bar on ourselves. We added, we tweaked, we explored and redesigned many things from scratch. We never compromised on quality, and over the course of many years of unrelenting polish and refinement, our tiny little DLC grew into a full, standalone game that is now SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE.

I found a bug!
Few universal things you can try to fix it: restart the game and your computer, reinstall the game, delete the save files from: C:Usersuser_nameAppDataLocalLowSUPERHOT_TeamSHMCD on Windows
HOWEVER, before deleting the whole folder please make a copy of the output.log file as it might come in handy later.
Remember that AppData is a hidden folder, so you have to reveal it by enabling hidden objects in the View tab of your file explorer window.

Make sure your drivers (all of them, particularly for your GPU and audio) are up to date.
